i've always wondered how they make things explode? Meaning they break up into smaller meshes. I wanna make a rock which falls to the ground and breaks into 12-15 pieces. So what would be the best way to do this? i don't want to make the rock in 12-15 pieces from the start. I think that would be a lame run-around. (What if one day i've to make a car explode?).
p.s.. i do know that a mesh breakup to polygon script exists.. but i want smaller meshes :)
