Title: Kaori Mochida
kaori mochida is an extremely lovable girl, has big eye, but also delightful sound.
she is a vocal of a band "Every Little Thing". Her music gives someone warm feeling.
hope you like my work. ^_^

I like the skin tones a lot - looks very soft
Was this a painting from scratch? No photo elements at all?
I looks soo damn good!

Beautiful work! I like the skin colors! :)
She looks lovely. Very neat painting. What kind of refs do you use?

I would like to see just a little more contrast in the lower part of her face, neck and clothing.
But that's just me personally; you might have aiming for this feel from the start...
So that being the case, beautiful!!!

Very beatiful technique! So nice to see, that not all is so saturated :)
I like the way the corol of the cloth bounces to the chin.
My only crit would be the nose. It doesn't looka as thoroughly made, as the rest of the portrait.
The hair is amazing! So hard and smooth at the same time!

This is very nice indeed.
I love it. She's very beautiful. Soft skin tone and eyes. Very nice eyes and hair.
Painter 8 ?

The picture rocks as much as the music from 'Every Little Thing'!
09-02-2004, 02:12 PM
I like it. Really nice picture, I love the painterly look it has.
One thing buggs my somewhat however and that is that her face, especially her eyes, nose and mouth look out of alignment of eachother. I hope this makes sense somewhat.
Anyway I wanna see more! :D

guess i'll create something like this in 3d
09-02-2004, 02:30 PM

09-02-2004, 02:51 PM
This is really good. My one and only critique is the area around her eyes... it just doesn't look 'finished.' She's pretty. Very good job.:)
09-02-2004, 02:53 PM
great start man.....keep it up:thumbsup:
09-02-2004, 03:05 PM
great work, just a crit for the hair that are a little "segmented" in the full-res-image too.
09-02-2004, 03:10 PM
A great paint job!
Total respect......Post some more of your stuff man, If it's anywhere near as good a this we'll all be in for a right treat :)

(I like Day after tomorrow more than Every little thing)
09-02-2004, 05:05 PM
Beautifull painting! I have to agree on the nose, the two nostril sides are uneven.

gacktMOON, I like your painting more then I can say, it captures something deep, more felt then seen, this peace has a soul. anyone who couldn't see it, must be shallow..

As soon as I saw the thumbnail on the main page, I knew it was Kaori Mochida, that's how good this picture is. Your picture is just as great as ELT's music :)
09-02-2004, 09:22 PM
nice piece :D
It has a unique feel to it. I used to listen to ELT a bit back in the day :)
09-02-2004, 09:28 PM
Everything seems so "smooth and soft" in this picture... just beautiful!... Excellent work :)
09-02-2004, 09:45 PM
beautiful and cute!! love the softness of the image!:applause:
09-03-2004, 01:13 AM
uugh so cute, I could get lost in those eyes.
09-03-2004, 01:24 AM
The eyes look a bit too plastic. Might want to blend those in with the skin tones. And the nose looks a bit too chunky. Did you use a reference pic? Other than that, ACE
09-03-2004, 03:40 AM
nice model. nice big eyes. :applause:
can we see the wires of this model.
09-03-2004, 07:02 AM
this is Painter coloring....Got Wireframe? Maybe vector line ? haa
Actually, the nose abit weird on the Right side.
The eyes...a bit un-natural double-eye lips... Seems like having operation. Maybe a little more blend to make the dark lines more fading away.
Right Ear maybe can be more contrast color.. issit seems like a small ear to the face?
Overall, this is a perfect human coloring. Maybe i need to compare this to the real picture that u reference.
Sorry, this is jst my very own opinion. Just ignore it. U knw why? CUZ I DUN EVEN KNW HOW TO do COLORING like u ...i just knw critics...haa....PAI SEH hor...hehe... BEAUTIFUL COLORING!

while this is a "lovely piece of work" there's just this one thing i'm bothered with - to me there seems something wrong with the position of the eyes. could just be me ofcourse, since i can't really put it to words so nothing that would spoil your evening :)
This is just another gorgeous pic ive seen on this site.
