Hey guys, i was wondering as to how you create those sweet looking reflections that you usually see on car models, thanks for the help! :)

You can use HDRI to render which will give you floating point colors instead of the 256 colors your color range is normally limited to. People use this in conjunction with final gathering to achieve those showroom reflections. It can also be done with layered shaders if you are using Maya software render instead of mental ray, just a lot more work involved.
