Hey All-

Ok. I don't have access to a scanner at the moment so I can't post my thumbs, but here's an anim in progress so far:

stage 2 (

I did a bit of rerigging and retiming halfway through, so it's kind of jitter-o-matic in places, but I'm slowly refining the motion. Not sure where I'm going to take the ending. I've blocked it out and am revising it. More to show later-

Hey coop....yea this is looking really good...only thing that's distracting for me is the camera pass...that's about it really....I'm not a camera guru myself so I don't really know how you'd solve that...but the animation looks good...maybe a polish pass and call it done:)

Holy crap Coop, that looks really nice! Great squash and flex on the bars and mat. The camera at the beginning is a bit diconcerting, but the final shot position is fantastic.

very good work Coop, I specially like the way it smashes against the ground.
my only comments would be on the way it holds the pole, kinda awkard, and also i think it should have a much stronger antecipation to the jump, rite now he just runs and, is in mid air when the pole hits the ground and lifts him, it would show more weight if he would have at least one foot on the ground and antecipate his jump.
other than that is pretty good stuff.

yeah. i need to revisit that first part. i may try to have him hold the pole 2 handed and do a more forceful plant, time permitting.

coop...that's the last little trip..hehe. I have to agree could use some more steps before going up as stated previously...right now the camera pass and that aren't reading that well for me....but other than that...I like it...the impact is nice and sharp and the time on the trip is excellent....great job man:)

Loks really good, I love the ending on V5, haha. But i thinkit would look better if when he trips it kick the pole too. Also when he plantsthe pole into the ground for the jump it slides alot, perhaps tone that down a bit. His grip on the pole still looks kinda weird to me when he is going up, it looks very odd in how his hands slide up the pole when he is coming off the ground. maybe define it more like he is pulling himself up to that position? Thats all from me.

Looks awsome, and that ending adds alot to it :thumbsup:

Looking good so far, Coop! A few things that stuck out...

as he takes off, there's a hitch in the camera, like it's anticipating the pan to follow him.
another camera oddity occurs as he's making the jump. There's just some extraneous movement in there that could be cleaned up.
his bounce off the landing pad doesn't match his landing. He clearly bounces to screen right off the pad, but then he falls into view from top-center. Unless there's a killer wind that blew him back to the left, that wouldn't work.
Looking forward to seeing more on this one. Keep at it! :)

ok- did some refining, took a pass at all the arcs and rekeyed the pole plant.
