Hi this would be my first post though iv been around for some time getting inspired by the great art you guys are making most of the time.
I used maya 5 to model the head but the goal was as much realism as i could get, and still is, so pls if there is anything dont hesitate to tell me, thanks.
il be making a body for him also as soon as i have some spare time heh.
And a link for highpoly wire since some ppl like that.

Very good start. I think the ear needs a tiny bit more work (like pretty much every 3d ear out there).
The forehead seems quite short and he seems to have a small cranial mass.
What focal length are you using for the perspective view? Default? I would create a camera with a focal length between 70 and 80. I find that improves the appearence of the modle in perspective view.

hi thx for the reply, but could you be more specific about the ears, which part is bothering you the most? is it when you look at them from front view or side? etc :)
and yeah i was usin just default focal on those pers shots, I like how it looks with focal length 40-50 or so, il use that for the next shots, 70-80 kinda flattens it up to much dont you think
anyway your right about the skull i really dint see that, jumping from modeling female heads to the first male made me kinda blind thowards the size, il fix that and post an update when iv looked over some more ear refs tonight

I must say your keeping everything clean with 4 sided polygons, I really like that.
the only thing I would say is to work on those lips,eyelids and other small areas that really
make it look more realistic. the overall shape is quite nice.
