View Full Version : How apply glow normalization factor ?
I have a shader with glow and that make some flikering during the animation. The render diagnostic tell me that for remedy that I have to render one frame with the cool glow and then apply the normalization factor (from the rendering output) as the glow intensity to the shader glow node. I was looking for that and I dont really get it. Can anybody tell me how to doit ?

Just turn off the "auto" option on your clipping planes for your camera.

Hi...i think the easy and correct process goes like this...
- u render your scene (1 frame) with the Global Glow shader in default settings and your shader's glow at the percentage u like....
- u look at your maya render log window the values of glow applied in your scene.
- U deselect Auto exposure in The Maya Glow shader and re -adjust there with the values taken by the render log.
Flikering glows no more.
