Hello! Im modelling a female head basemesh, after which I will start detailing it...
I'd like critique on the modelling (+topology(wire)) and some suggestion how to make it look more female.

wow that is a really nice model. the underside of the nose looks a bit strange, with how it has a lump. but damn, otherwise very very nice!

I think the ear is too far in the back of th head
You should make it closer to the area of the eyes
other then that its a very nice head u got there....

For some reason she looks like a french... :)

Thanks for the comments!

I scaled the ears a tiny bit and moved the down abit. I set the nostril wing ends higher, narrowed the chin a bit, and pulled the tear duct inside, and a few other things..
4 pictures here, front and profile, plus 2 iteration meshmoothed 3/4 quarter view, and wire.

In the profile view, I think the place where the skull "sphere" ands, and the neck muscles begin (the sharp corner) should be higher? Or should it?

Comments welcome! (and sorry for the big images)

The thing that stands out the most for me is the way the mesh is being sucked in at the outer corner of the eyes. You need to relax that.

The septum needs to be brought down. And the nostrils could be shaped better.

Good work on the ears although I would bring the y shaped thing back a bit.

The face looks very thin and look like it is being pulled back by something. Again you need to relax your mesh.

Keep going

Also I think the back of the head needs adjusting, currently it looks very 'thick' and needs thinning and bringing in.

Good detail on the ears, the eyes need relaxing at the outside, it looks like someone is pulling her skin back.

It has character, sort of a stylised feel, interesting work.

I think the "thing" (don't remember the name) in the inner corner of the eye is too big.

Also the tail of the eye is indeed being pushed inwards... the eye structure reminds me of those of a vulcan, not a human.

The forehead needs a to be a little more vertical... that 45 angle makes her look like one of those central american indians from the XIV century...

nemirc: do you mean the tear duct?

yup, that's the thing I was talking about...

and I still think your forehead needs to be a little more vertical...

I think the forehead should be more like that shape:

It looked like an alien-shaped forehead a little bit

Edit: And maybe you should also pull out the cheeks (not the cheek bones..) a little bit more, it looks like its sucked in

Sorry, my english is not so good

Edit 2: And pls post side and front view, so I can see whats need adjustments
