I agree, the face looks great, and a good thing that you've paid attention to the hair as well, how did you make it?

I am a new comer. Nice to see ur works.
I have watched the Lord of Rings for several times and have always been impressed by its nicely modeled and animated character.
I hope I can achieved such stuff.:bounce:

Damn, someone should tell Wiro about this.

Very nice work.

Very nice indeed. I like the idea of having him as a bust, sort of like the Sideshow sculpts. Nice shading too.

On the likeness though, I think you should shorten the forehead a bit. And the teeth seems a tad too small. The deformation of the shoulder has some problems too. Other than that; great!

excellent
the body needs some more work to be as good as the head however, especially in the biceps/deltoid area.

it's very good, little critics is that on the texture of the belly you can see that it's mirrored. another critics is that it looks too evil, for me gollum in the film was cute in a certain way, this one isn't. but that's just personal opinion, sorry.
great job anyway.

I like your model! Everything is fine exept hands.

Nice rendering of Sideshow's Comic Con bust...

The head is pointed a bit too high compared to the actual bust, and the neck is slightly longer than it should be...

Very nice...

Very nice. You should go for the rest of the body! Did you use Sub-Ds? Because I've watched the special edition DVD of LOTR (geek) and the actual model used for the movies was done in Sub-Ds. Personally I'm partial to polys.

I think his hair is thicker and he has less of it though.

This is a fantastic model.
I think the ears should be a bit pointier on the top and i agree with LewisD about the neck.
Can you post some head closeups?

Great modelling and texturing really had me fooled into thinking it was an actual gollum bust. Great work!
