Damn that's a sweet pic!

Composition, lighting, detail..all spot on.
Nothing to crit really.

I really like the way the intruder is wearing all black in an otherwise bright city/environment..really makes the sense of "not-belonging there" pop.

I'd love to see your workflow cycle on this pic! (like you have for others on your site)

As always, killer work from you!

Simply amazing. I really like how you made the lighting hit the walls so perfectly.

hey, its really nice! By the way, the details on some parts of the backgound might be a bit too emphasized. Just my opinion.

Another beautiful piece! Great composition.

I have a question for you. What brushes in Painter do you use? I dont mean each specific one, but are you using Oil Brushes, or Gouache brushes, or airbrush, or what?

Thanks for the info, I am an aspiring Painter painter myself, :)

It is a very precise expression!
It is wonderful !

08-16-2004, 03:08 PM
Not bad, but i have seen better from you;-)

08-16-2004, 04:32 PM
Wow... Extreme details! Gives me a feeling of beeing there. But it looks a bit like the intruder is closer to the bridgething than she actually are, at first it looked a bit like some sort of laboratory or something. But great anyway.
(btw, do u know what your name means in norwegian?...)

Well yeah I have to agree with you here aswell. The other pic (sorry dont remember name) with the six legged tank also reminded terribely of Masamune Shirows designs. But hell, Im a fan aswell. I like this one alot. well made character and scene.

Im curious about this 3D Block... Is it a simple program, or is it just what you call it and create the scene in 3DsMax or something similar program. I wanna try the technique.

This concept is great... reminds me of a cross between Trinity, Armitage, and Aeon Flux...

I wish I had that level of skill...

08-18-2004, 03:43 PM
good light and good feel。。。I like!
But how did you do it??

08-18-2004, 03:52 PM
Great Job, any chance of getting a larger image of that?
I would love to have it as my desktop but I've got a 30' monitor.

You know bigger is better! :p

This kind of reminds me of Tron, with the big cylinderical structure in the center of the image there. I can only guess that this assassin/covert ops type person is going in to throw a massive monkey wrench in the works. Good stuff you've got here.

great job.good colors and nice concept  :applause:

i wish i have time to somthing like this, not 2D but in 3D, all these extream details on the buildings r amazing well done.

I love the composition and rendering, but my question is: Where are the other people? To have a sense of menace, I'd like to see people in the town. The way that it looks here, the assassin/ninja/intruder is entering a space without any people-- no potential victimes, no tension.

Put another way, what would Alien vs. Predator be without the human characters? Cool, but not emotionally compelling.

nice work... i wonder what he's doing up there
