View Full Version : Converting UV to Texture Support

08 August 2004, 05:07 AM

I'm working on the eye texture of a character. The texture was originally
done in UVs. But now i have to assign new TS and make the eye looks
exactly the same as it was in UVs. The new UV is totally different than
the origial one. I tried copy and paste UVs, but then the TS is no longer
animatable. Is there a way that i can convert UV values to the UVs of a
TS and still be able to animate the TS?

I hope i've explained clearly ^ ^; Thanks a lot for the time!!

explicit UVs are informations about how samples are stored in UVspace.
the moment you freeze the operations on top of your texture support the operator to connect the UVspace to a support and all the alterations needed to resample and move things around are lost.

frozen explicit texturing cannot by nature be easily manipulated.

oh.... i see. That's just too bad. I tried to find any script that can use,
but couldn't really find any. So now i guess i just need to do
things the hard way :D

thanks a lot!! Very appreciated.
