07 July 2004, 11:42 PM
Heres my effort about 30 mins photoshop

07 July 2004, 11:50 PM
Photoshop CS w/ tablet
1 1/2 hours to 2 hours

It's about a villain guy... boring, but... wanted to see if I could make it... interesting by painting. :) if you want more taste.... it's filtered by photo filter in photoshop to achieve that blue-ish color. Different mood I guess... but I personally like the first one the best.. it's the ORIGINAL one. :)

To everybody else: It's awesome... your artwork... some cute.. some have excellent idea/concept. :) Keep it up!

How does "in the meanwhile" sit in terms of good English/grammar? It doesn't seem right to me.

Meanwhile on it's own seems to carry the same message, can someone straighten me out here?

How does "in the meanwhile" sit in terms of good English/grammar? It doesn't seem right to me.

Meanwhile on it's own seems to carry the same message, can someone straighten me out here?Yea, thats what I thought when I first read it, even tho my english sucks I think just "meanwhile..." is enough

07 July 2004, 06:52 AM
Either way, does it really matter? Draw damn you! :D

07 July 2004, 07:30 AM
Thanks for the compliments guys. There are some great sketches in this topic.

Goro - Your lighting just keep getting better and better! (btw, your speed paints rock!)
Pedro Toledo - Thats a great one, the brown colors enhance the "on the toilet" feeling.

Edit: Captain Chapo: Just put an interesting texture in a seperate layer and try different layer modes to get the look you want. Easy really. Fiddle around with it to your hearts content.

07 July 2004, 08:49 AM
I draw for a living Erilaz, I'm too busy to do anything but drop in here once or twice a day, when things quieten down I'll be back for sure.

or alternatively,

about 10, 20 minutes to sketch, and like an hour and a half to put together in photoshop (drawn in 2 parts), paint, fix, and mainly delete all the damn notebook lines. im planning on drawing on blank paper, soon.

MVP -- Are you the villain and she's in your hideout, or did you post in the wrong topic ("My Ideal Romantic Interest")? Great pic, though.

07 July 2004, 10:33 AM
Cheers ilikesoup, i did indeed post this sketch in the wrong one - was a bit tipsy last night!! Have put into the 'ideal romantic interest' category.
