I really like the first plane.
The explosion on the second one seems a bit weird to me. Can't say what exactely bothers me though.

So waht isnpired you to do this piece? Did you use and photo as a reference? You did a good job on the airplanes.

I used a B/W photo of a polish MiG-21 as reference for the first aircraft and for the F-4 on the background i looked at some side drawings and photos. I wish i had good references for the ground and clouds.

It hurts me to see an F4 get blown to bits,:sad: but that's what happend. Great painting. The wing of the F4 is too swept back (atleast the part that's not blow off yet), but thats all i can comment on. I'd like to see more historical war painting as opposed to over done impratical star ships. Good work:thumbsup:.

Donīt worry. I will post more "historical" works in some days. But iīm sorry, there will be more american aircraft blasting there ;) There are lots of good "mig killers" art allready, someone has to do something for the other guys...
