View Full Version : two emitters in fluid cloud???

07 July 2004, 12:47 AM
Hi, There is a scene in the xsi_samples directory: pouring_paint ( or something close to that name, dont have xsi in this machine).
They use exactlly what I need: two emitters with one FLUID cloud ( I know you can have two emitters with one particle cloud, but even the help file states the following: " Note: You cannot have multiple emitters on a fluid cloud. As well, the Fluid operator works only with the default cube, disc, or square emitter objects." )
In the scene Im commenting they have two fluids of TWO different colors fusing together and they use only one fluid cloud with two emitters and two Ptypes (one for each color).
Does any1 know how this can be done?? Ive tried several approaches but had no luck  Im asking this too at xsibase, hope not to be breaking any rule by posting in two different forums. Many thanks in Advance.
