Heres my entry, texturing id like 5% done, I dont really like it o, as Ive only been seriously texturing for 1 or 2 weeks...

Looks really good! Was this already begun before the competition? or are you shy with the WIPs?
Dunno of youre allowed entries that arent based on any particular animal though. Check with Elsium.
Good textures, great hair and clean geometry. Hooves are a tad big, but it suits it.

Thanks guys, its based off a goat :)
Concept is being scanned by my friend as we speak, Im redoing the textures too, they are too jumbled an messy atm, I just dont like em, and finally, the UVWs for the body and weapons is done.

This is a great looking model. The geometry is very clean, and could probably use some optimizing in certain areas.
But, as Andy pointed out, their is no proof that this model was designed after the guidelines were posted. Concepts and progress are part of the game. The beast aspect of this character is also deviating far from the guidelines.
You can continue with this project, but it won't be a strong entry. If you would like, there is still plenty of time to start another character from scratch. Allow the community to give advice as you progress through each stage of developement. This design is proof that you could hold a strong entry within this contest.

I started this after the contest started, but if you really want me to start another charcter I will, I guess Ill get to the drawing board, and maybe you could delete this thread or something :)

no one is strong arming you, just skeptical. But if you say so, we'll believe you. Since you haven't really done too much texturing, maybe it's not too late to tweak it somewhat.
