Hello all, could anyone be a sport and post my picture for me until I get home and put it on dreamweaver connection has gone mad?! Oh go on...its a goodun! Let me know -

thanks in advance.
Why dont you post it as an attachement for the time being. You probably have to scale down the quality, but you can edit your post and repost a HQ version when you're at home. That way you can still get it in on time.

07 July 2004, 12:56 PM
Here's mine, done during lunch, about 40 minutes or so. Done in PS with Wacom.

07 July 2004, 01:24 PM

Photoshop, took at least four hours, probably even more. I ought to learn to plan these things better.

07 July 2004, 05:47 PM
info is in my site /gallery section

I say it everytime, but we would like to get some info on it here. how long did it take? method and program used? where did you get the idea? etc.

TeoM, I gotta say that I always love your work, but this one goes to far.

I love stuff thats done in bad taste, but this just isn't funny. I don't like it when people poke fun at something that is as horrible as what has been going on lately.

I know you mean no harm, but its something to think about anyway.

07 July 2004, 07:29 PM
Hm.. A little too late I see that this could be perceived as somewhat crude. I was thinking more along the lines of "WW2 Japanese prison camp", the Iraq parallel didnt hit me until now.
I'm all for cartoons commenting or being satirical of world events and such, but just making fun of tragedies without having any though or message behind it is just as tasteless to me as it is to you. I hope you all realize this wasn't my intention.

07 July 2004, 09:27 PM
I posted a sketch in the 'Our Robot Overlord' thread a little while back ,and then realised the guy looked quite middle eastern ,and had a dog lead on. Its easy done, when your line of thinking is on a certain path ,to miss the obvious.
Disregarding the paralells with reality ,its still a great pic TeoM.

07 July 2004, 09:47 PM
Oh I know you meant no harm.

but the similarities between your work and say...the Nick Berg video are just to many. and that was one of the most awful things a person would ever view.

Again, I don't mind political cartoons, and I dont mind increadibly offensive material. I am not easily offended by anything I see, but I just wanted you to be aware that your treading a very fine line.

still, great concept and great execution!, now I am doing it!

07 July 2004, 09:51 PM
Rikaro: The badge looks like transformer.
iamintricate: The girls are cute! haha
RobertoOrtiz: Nice color, I like your blue hair!
TeoM: Really nice style! I like it!

07 July 2004, 09:55 PM
I say it everytime, but we would like to get some info on it here. how long did it take? method and program used? where did you get the idea? etc.
Ya rikaro, why dun u just type it here since they are just couple of words.

Well, I m just suggest.

07 July 2004, 10:38 PM
but the similarities between your work and say...the Nick Berg video are just to many. and that was one of the most awful things a person would ever view.
Only, I haven't seen any beheading videos. I would imagine they tend to push that kind of stuff forward a bit further in the news in the US, but to me the paralell between beheadings and the occupation of Iraq isn't exactly obvious.

07 July 2004, 11:18 PM

Funny idea Ti-Ki!

07 July 2004, 11:10 PM

07 July 2004, 02:23 AM
augustus -- Sweet crosshatching! Style reminds me of Mark Texeira and the Girl Scouts look like a team of super villainesses. The girl on the wall is downright creepy. :applause:

07 July 2004, 06:54 PM

I started this thing days ago and got bored, left it some time and finally cut it down to a new frame (the original had 3 more girls eating his body).
