Great work you two! If I had it to do again, I would have taken more time on this... Oh well, at least I got one in today!

10 min. sketch, 5 min. Photoshop

07 July 2004, 03:12 AM
Photoshop, almost 3 hours.

07 July 2004, 05:06 AM fast cars here, but I put in one fast woman. 12:30 at night and there was no background, so I put up some cheap paneling and laid out a taupe carpet. A bit over 3 hours in photoshop.

Supervlieg - I've missed your humorous pictures. Did you visit Kirt in Lotsa Cows, CA on your vacation? I notice a theme. :D

Great stuff, guys!

07 July 2004, 06:01 AM
Well just a fast one.
PS & penpointer 40 min.

Toem:great work.

07 July 2004, 06:23 AM
Well, I don't normally post a sketch on Mondays, since I don't have time and don't want to spend it not working on my job. Today I had time, not much but there were so few entries today so I thought I add to the small pile.

Come on, guys! Start posting. Even if it's just a 10 minutes sketch like mine.

yeah. the flash lives his life in the fast lane whether he's fighting baddies or just chilling! still not sure who would win in a race if it was superman vs the flash. :)

Fast Bimbo

She's Penelope Pitstop as a over-sexed anime bimbo, trying achieve victory by flashing the other wacky racers with her almost perfect behind. Or maybe she HAS to be that way because the car is too small for her.

Lovin' your work, Sir Patroclo. Keep inspiring me. :lightbulb

Thanks for the comments guys. Sadly Sunday is a slow day posting wise. But still great.

Goro: Good lighting as usual. The car isnt really convincing though, but I guess you feel that way too.
Ephesus: I like the expression on the face.
TeoM: great lines and color.
Ilikesoup: Thanks man, like the rabbit btw.
teknote83: I like it.
Sir Patrolco: Nice. How does she steer the vehicle?
drawMonger: I like the style, but the black lines need better weighting.

Tried to go a little faster this time, but didn't work out that way. 20 min ballpoint pen sketch, 1hr trying to salvage in photoshop.

Hopefully you can figure out what it is.

TeoM, you got my favorite so far. I'd kill to have that line quality.
Nilk, I think you've made me smile with every single post.
MVP: Brilliant idea, and great execution!
Biped. That's hilarious. Took me awhile to clue in (one of those days) but LOL!

Seemed to take a while for posts to come in, but real nice stuff, people!

Thanks for the feedback Supervlieg! I will put some effort into weighting the lines...something i hadn't even thought about before (definately a noob), so you have been a big help!!

A couple of late entries by digital_bobert (

07 July 2004, 02:55 AM

I love the first runner -- he's so fast that the stripes on his sneakers can't keep up and his hands are melting. Great style.
