I decided to go with a more morbid drawing to day as well. I also went with some thinner lines this time, I think it has a better feel to it. I know, my proportions arent that great, but I really cant draw people well at all so Im not gonna say otherwise.

2 hours, photoshop, trackball

I guess it was not knowing what 2 minus 6 is that pushed them over the edge!

Hi. The kid is wearing the standar uniform that all students here in Chile wear in school. Don't know why the dad looks like Peter Jackson!! :D

Thank God the book titles are gone. And please give a prayer or two for me and my friggin thesis.

07-10-2004, 10:01 PM

OK. Here's mine. I call it "No dad...Dodge Ball is NOT fun!"

Photoshop/Wacom...geez, probably about 3hrs. I keep getting sucked into the textures. Gotta watch that.

Great sketch, Sir Patroclo! LOL! Peter Jackson for sure! I think I may be in for therapy after checking out the others. ;) Definitely not what I thought of when I read the topic.

http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v236/ilikesoup2/Parochial.gifI've heard that for those who attended parochial school, the mere sight of a nun caused them to break out in a cold sweat. Especially one with a ruler in her hand. Nuns of her order take a vow of poverty, chastity and of not having eyebrows. About 2 hours in photoshop.

Sir Patroclo! Amazing sketch! probably one of your best entries!

Supervlieg: nice expressions and great idea:)

I'm a a bit late with my sketch coz I was away for the weekend, but I didn't want to miss this one.

Sir Patroclo: Great work, I like your style and nice colours. Dad kinda remind me of somebody when I looked at it without reading ur comments. It was Peter Jackson. NICE:D

Here's my sketch. Didn't have much time to color it.
Plain paper and pencil work.

07-12-2004, 02:19 AM

Thank you gentlemen for your kind comments. Totoro, I like that character design a lot, it begs to be animated.
