here's mine. literal interpretation. There went more time in this than you might think. I dunno exactly, I think more than 2 hours. Had trouble with the poses.
I wanted to do a slightly different style this time, more sunny, but I feel like this is mre like my very first sketches: not too good..
what do you guys think?
edit: some real nice entries so far! As a matter of fact, I really like them all! Favourite so far: Cyanid, despite the strange lighting ;)

Here's another one. Finally summer holiday so I've got nothing to do might as well do some more sketches. Photoshop about 1 hour.
07-07-2004, 10:43 PM
my spin on the topic:
20 minutes ps/wacom
garma: since you asked, i like the look of the drawing but the proportions of the girl on the left dont work quite right. her right leg looks too spindly and disconnected i think. and her torso is a little long for the size of her arms. shoulders are slightly too broad for a female too. the older woman on the right are fine. her disproportions work well and add to her character.
it's been a while:)
Had some difficulties with the booktitles.
This topic's great! Here is my sketch for today. about an hour
Digimatrix: cute sketch!

07-08-2004, 12:25 PM
I see dead people,
Do you believe in ghosts, they are always watching!
15min chalk/15 min PS
Drumwhore - love the pic, very effect and chillingly themed in contrast to the colours!
07-08-2004, 02:34 PM
A lot of good posts.
Drumwhore- very nice. I was thinking along similar lines, but my idea was more from the "exhibitionist's" standpoint. ("Yes! They're watching!")
My boss has decided to keep me busy these last few days- hopefully I'll get in on the next one. Good work everyone!

hey gang, tell me if my monitor is screwed up because at home the colors look fine, but here at work, its a different story.
the grass should be yellow with a hint of green and the faces of the gorrillas should be greyish brown and should be contrasted well from the rest of their bodies, also their should be a highlighted area along the left side of the gorrillas.
I may need to adjust my monitor I dont know but I'd appreciate your help on this.
Is there a website that I can go to that will help me adjust my monitor properly? Im talking like a website that has the proper color and contrast bars...you know.

THEY'RE WATCHING; a second or two; snapped a photo of these 2 critters eating bird seed on my back doorstep, scanned and clicked Plastic Wrap in PS. :) They knew they were being watched. :D
07-09-2004, 12:15 AM
LOL nilky, you sealed them in plastic!
07-09-2004, 12:45 AM
