hello all!

finally some spare time on the weekend from work!...
i've been eagerly waiting to put my newly acquired knowledge
from the workshop to good use.

the results are these quick environment concepts...each about an hour.

again...loads of 10x to andrew and jason who organaized the workshop
and lots of love to the this case especialy sprath...dude, you rule!

Hey great work.

Really like the feeling and concept.

2nd one is not really reading for me ( too much black at bottom ) but others are simply great.

What brush(es) did you use?

10x for the kind words Aerion, all the work was done with "Airbrush Pen Opacity Flow" with tighter spacing:10% and shape dynamics turned of...

I start my work by laying in very general masses, searching for interesting forms and compositions.

then moving on to create depth by placing the values in grays.

color comes near the end and is overlayed on the image.

the general guide is to keep it as loose as possible so as to get a stronger impression allowing room for discussion and imagination rather then a finished piece, while at the same time giving enough information to create the discussion.
