just finished this model, gonna use it for my demo reel, I've been around the forum for awhile, never really posted anything until now.
tell me what you think, if there's anything you'd like to see different
oh btw, software used, xsi 3.5.1 :), and photoshop

check some references.. the wing may be too big.. and the hood
the front scoop to the intercooler is too small ;)
wow and u managed to find the tire threads for the pontenza tires? XD
the front headlights need to be checked

model looks good, but something about the render just makes all the colours look flat and a bit too harsh in their variations.
i think your image could do with a little more AA too. yeah the model is definately happening, just need to work on the render a surfacing a little more.:thumbsup:

Rikaro-I'll check out the blueprints, I know alot of the images I looked at were just the regular impreza wrc, so the scoop is sorta inbetween the two, I'll definately make it bigger, and as for the fin, yeah that could be changed too.
I was stoked on these tires, actually did a little reading on a suby forum about them, that's where I found the treads from, I actually modelled them onto the tire, as you can see in the attached picture.
and as for the render, I know it's not really photorealistic, I'd like to get it more looking like something real, and then eventually comp it, but I've been rendering it too long, and I can't decide what makes things look real or not anymore. Any pointers one what needs to happen with the spec and diffuse and the rest of that jazz would be greatly appreciated.
I'm thinking something's up with the spec, but yeah, more crits welcome
