View Full Version : FOR SALE: $550 -- LightWave 8, UV Edit Pro, KeyTrak

06 June 2004, 09:30 PM
Hi wavers,

Selling LightWave 8, with UV Edit Pro and KeyTrak (which is still great in 8!).

Also includes Inside LW 7 and 1001 Tips and Tricks for LW 8 (Tips and Tricks is in totally new condition, Inside LW 7 good condition, some marks) if you want them.

LW is on a parallel dongle. If you changed to a USB, I don't think KeyTrak would work any more. Just want to be clear on that.

Asking $550 for the lot. I'll pay shipping in US 48, you pay elsewhere. PayPal, check, cashiers check or money order all cool.

PM me or email me at:

 This must be the best LightWave deal I've seen yet! Seriously.

I wish there was a someone with a deal like this when I bought LightWave.

Whats up Doug?
Get a job and moving to Hollywood?
or are you going to the Darkside?
:D ...well which is it? Maya or XSI!?

Great deal, Ill ask around locally, any chance you can shave the shipping charge off the $550 for local Denver people? ;)

Sure Howard, I'll could shave off some bucks if it's in Denver, depending on how it works out (drop-off, pick-up, whatever). Thanks a lot for asking around. I really appreciate that.

That's almost unbelievable! I wish this deal was around when I was trying to secure a license for my younger brother.

Well at least its not Maya... :D
Does that make XSI the Grayside? ;)

Who you working for!?
I'm freelancing.

well unless you are short on cash, why not keep LightWave? always useful to have as many tools laying around as possible, and if you keep it we all wont spit on you for crossing over to the "Greyside", although im glad its XSI and not Maya aswell...

It's just a matter of where I want to invest my time right now.

How smooth was your transition to XSI? I've been giving it some serious consideration since the educational license is cheaper than LW's. Is it difficult to learn after knowing LW?

It was great. You have to expect an adjustment of some kind, but after the "huh, what?" period was over, I found XSI to be simply a breeze.

My LW 8 is still for sale, BTW.
