how long does it took to model, you said you were bored, and you just crabbed something and you did it....

so you stay at home playing with kids, send them in front of tv and model some stuff... cool :)

Great piece. It amazes me how some people can shell out work this good in less than a day.

(I love the star in the background)

nice render I like the Lighting ,simple but good...

06 June 2004, 06:47 PM
Very nice and fine colors. And yes the star in the background is so sweet.

Nicely done, mate!
I think that the cd-player looks pretty much photo-real more or less.
Whats bugging me is that the three blocks in the background doesn't look as realistic as the cd-player and that is probably what gives it away.
But still, lookin ace :)

Very nice image! Could you tell us about the lighting? Did you just go with the HDR and no extra lights, or...?

I'd also love to see the wire - I'm really digging this image, great work! :)

thanks guys
i made a hdri map for another scene so i just used that, no other lights
here is the wire
its a simple scene not really hard modelling, cause i was bored :D

06 June 2004, 07:24 PM
Really, really nice one! Got one last question: What was the render time for this shot?

06 June 2004, 07:29 PM
it took about an 1 hr i think
but i have a dual xeon 3.06 4 gig ram blah blah, this allowed me to set the settings high enough to look goo. hope this helps
