I'm going to take good old Mr. Mint from Candyland


and American McGee him up into a terrible mint-chopping cyborg machine monster.

I'll have a character sketch in a bit and maybe I'll get it done.

Haven't had much time or inspiration... but here's a head design.

Mr. Mint decided to keep his face not just for sentimental reasons, but as a reminder of his destroyed and distorted humanity.

I got a little carried away with the polygons... whoopsie... I could possibly make it, but more than likely I'll need to cut down... That's half of my tris right there. The body I have in mind is much much less complicated than the head... but it probably still won't be enough... I'm going to finish it and then worry about cutting down.

You should probably cut down behind the eyepeice, and at the tubwes in the back, since they won't be seen as well. Also, the hat should probably come down a few polies. Still, it creeps me out to no end - I hate clowns.

I got the polys a little more under control. I still need to cut more if I want legs... so yeah...

I'm just kinda winging it with the design now... perhaps a 3-armed behemoth was the wrong choice for me to try so low a polycount with...

Okay... After many hours of insanity I think I finally have the triangles under control at 2998... While also completing the model... Woo! And unwrapping it! Woo x2! 2 days for texturing! Down to the Wire!

That is quality mate! Really nice work - I'd say try and make him a little bit more dirty if you can (the buzzsaw and chainsaw are begging for some rust in an evil "I'm-gonna-give-you-tetanus-in-a-really-painful-way-that'll-require-a-jab" sort of way :D). Of course, the finishing line for the competition is quickly approaching - if you don't have time or can't be arsed, it won't matter too much - it looks so goood! :thumbsup:

Oh yes. Definitely. Unfortunately time expired... so it was texture everything with a minimum of filth, or only texture part of it. There is much more detail I would like to add, and I probably will in the near future.

Excellent... I would so love to see that. With some more variation to the texture I think this'd be one amazing model.
