The "bumpers" on the Cartoon Network have just been updated with 3D environments, all done in Max+ Vray. Any of you guys seen any of it?

I think it's pretty nice work, but then I'm biased.

i am pretty sure that it was animal logic in sydney. i have a mate who worked on it

Yeah, I'm part of a great little team here at Animal. Not sure if or when it will be shown on the Australian cartoon network, or other countries for that matter.

Hey Greg, just had a look at your site, recognise a lot of the 3dluvr contest stuff in there ;)
you're an aussie? or just shipped over? Just curious, I'm originally from down there, I know Geoff, Toby, Wiro and a lot of the maya team down at AL etc.

Yea, it's some excellent stuff that was done for CNet, over 200 bumpers...I haven't even seen them all. I didn't work on it but my hat's off to that team!
Amcay, gjpetch (Greg) is among other things a top dawg modeler ;)

Were they done with minitures (real models)?
I mean, Wow! Those sets looked so real on tv.

I watch Cartoon network adult swim through almost every night. I hate that they repeat everynight. Grrrrr. Anyway... the bumpers are done very well. They just opened up Movement Inc! ;)

spike no idea when that was posted... but no I'm not corey feldmans brother, I'm corey ham's brother.. they always get confused heh.

nah met wiro last year when I was in sydney getting my visa from the US embassy. (He works at Animal Logic with a few mates of mine).

erm no I 'used' to live in Los Angeles, was at DD and Blur. But I'm back in Sydney actually two doors down from Animal Logic - helping set up Frantic Film's new Sydney office (They're Canadian/LA based fx studio).

I changed to the CNet crew in January (we're currently 9 people on it), a fun project to work on. Brace yourself for a whole new bunch of cool bumps ;)

And stop picking on Alan, it's not his fault he's so popular :D

insidefilm magazine - January 31, Animal awarded top award for 'futurecar spot'. Go Grant.

And on the same page, the International Press Academy Satellite VFX Award goes to Animal for House of Keyframed Daggers!
