View Full Version : Modelling a Brick Wall Dilema

Hi guys,

i was wondering what the best way to go about this. i want to model a country style stone wall made of hand shaped 'sand stone style' bricks. would it be better to model and texture/shade the bricks individually or use a plane and cut, divide and extrude whilst using a complete texture of the wall as a reference (if this makes sense!)

The above link is a good tutorial on creating a brick wall. It is written for Cinema 4D, but can easily be applied to any 3D app.
