I just finished up a new interior scene. Its the piano room where one can relax and listen to some music...too bad i cant play.:p Lightwave 7.5 for everything. Comments would be greatly appreciated!

just the light above the notes of piano should not have shadow in this side or not at all.....

i think the shadow is perfect ! because the light reflects from the walls inside the room... Look in your owns room .. everthing has shadow... ! it's not like it's a very dark shadow.. so i think it fits well

nice color scheme, the lighting is amazing.

(Maybe more contrast on dark/light but its only a matter of personal preference)

Thanks guys. The shadows cast from the piano lamp and shelf is a little too much i know. Some info on the scene: 30,500 polys total, interpolated radiosity, 3 area lights and 2 point lights, im working on a celeron 1.1GHz, 128megs memory,(crappy, i know) the render took 2.5 hours. Thanks again for the crits!

Looks pretty good. It looks like there's a bright light or skylight in the room as well. I'd focus on the window light and the bounce from it and that's it. Let some of the scene slip into darkness.
