Hi all.

Heres my latest model.

Background is bit of blurry, but there isn't much I can do about it.

The car is excellent!
Too bad with the background.
The tyres could be more black.
But - you have a really good looking model. Is there any wires?
Did you boxmodel it? spline cage?
Car paint is really, really good!

What prog? What renderer?

this is beautiful. i agree about the tires. they could be a little more black.

I do like the tyres as they are
Carpaint could be better, seems like u're not using fresnel reflections...
Agree on the background
Lighting could be much better too

Thanks for replys and crits.

Program used was Lighwave. Modeling method was poly-by-poly.

Is the paint too reflective? I used incidence angle gradient in reflection channel. Lighting is from HDRI so it should be pretty accurate.

Here's some wires and clay renders.

Lighting on car in hdri pics seems too dark for the bright environment, it doesn't make sense. The environment in the first to pics isn't complimenting at all to the model. Excellent model, poor presentation. The textureless radiosity renders are far more aesthetically pleasing.

Wow it looks awesome !! You mentioned before this was your next piece of work. And a very fine one.

I haven't been able to work on my version of the coupe 6 for weeks now. Looks like you beat me to it ;)

nice, very good. but as mentioned, (and Im a tire and wheel guy, 15 yrs +). Tires are not black enough.

other than that,

Very nice car, good clean modelling.
Only thing that bothers me are the rims. On the first pic I almost thought they were textured. Seeing the wires and all made me change my mind, but I still don't think they look 100% right when rendered. Maybe they need a bit more shape, less flat.. you know ?

congrats, looking awesome...:applause:
