here is Rock Lee from the anime Naruto, he is about 2500 triangles, one 512 map, let me know what you guys think!

Is he for a game?
Perhaps some minor crits:
The hand looks strange. The geometry looks tiny bit off, and the too strong outlines add to this.
You should have a second look at the textur on the feet. Looks like all toes have the same size...
Perhaps a bumpmap on bandages and belt. (or does games not support bump? /me has no idea :shrug: )
For the pose... doesn't he form a fist with the hand on his back?

may be this will help a bit, and so far the only game that does bump map is halo2, doom3 and half life 2 and along with others does normal map, but i was going for the looks thats from the GC naruto game

Hmm... the belt seem to be a tiny bit higher in the picture. And he's a bit more slender?

Hate to burst your bubble, but, many many games use bump. HL2 and D3 use normal maps, halo 2 (just like Halo 1) uses bump, no normal maps. if you look at the master chief you can see bump maps in halo 1.
as for your model, maybe a better camera angle so we can see the character would be good. Your hand is to large, or is that the camera angle? and you legs seem short, but that could be the camera angle also. A wire frame would be nice to see.
So much of your char. is green you could get more out of a 512 texture map, master chief is only 512...
