really interesting !:)
waiting for the next
I'm looking for different mood :)
This is my second concept for this challenge. This time it's a guard that had been "upgraded" with some biomechanical parts. C&C welcome.

I really like your work so far..
I thought the first idea was slightly more unusual which is a good thing and liked the way the type and image merge together in the composition
saying that I like the way the guard is lit and with addition of a background will be very dynamic
I look forward to seeing your next update:thumbsup:

Great work!!!!! Nothing to say, maybe let the flesh more apparent
06-01-2004, 04:02 PM
Nice work! If there's anything I would say, it would probably be about focus. What part of the character is important for the viewer to look at? Where do you want to direct the eye? Mind you that's the only thing I can suggest because the concept is very well drawn and solid.
06-01-2004, 07:09 PM
Go on man, I keep an eye on your work...:)
06-03-2004, 12:48 PM
I really love your last image, it has some great forms esspecially in the head and arms of the robot, i like the way youve show the interface that its working on. Would love to see this image in colour.

The holographic looking stuff with the light streaming out is really cool. I hope it stays in the final design.
I applyed into my old project some differences.I want to discover something more emotional there .I'm looking for more biological quality.

Hey!! I like this!!
i wish i'd found it earlier...
How much of the 'woman' is flesh? Is it just the arms? Or is it the mouth too?
i really like the dogs... pets are good!!
And the setting is great... like an old theatre....
Good luck getting everything done!!

Wow, beautiful work! I really love the sketches too, the little drawing of the head in the top left corner of your first sketch is really nice, and the screen you drew is also great. Do you have a website? Can't wait to see the finished piece!
PS Thanks for the kind comment!

:) :wavey: hey looking good ioio...
I've been so busy trying to finish my entry that I've not seen your work since some of the earlier sketches. Great colour WIPs and the style is really something.
This is definitely one of the more original and inspiring concepts / pieces in the competition...
Post the final soon as I can't wait to see how it turns out - though I'm sure it will be worth waiting for......good luck with finishing the piece and also in the judging / voting...... :applause:
Run run run...
06-18-2004, 11:14 AM
Dude this is just amazing. The way you deal with light and reflection is just perfect almost mentalray like. Incredible fresnel efect:applause:. I hope you will finish this piece of very oryginal and "fresh" design. Good luck!:applause: :applause: :applause:

Amazing rendering on the material and reflections, keep it up.
Now this is too much for me:surprised
what software do you use, I mean 3D software, hehehe;)
Fantastic design, unbeleivable execution!!!!
06-18-2004, 11:39 AM
yea what they said
Thanks to all of you guys for the very kind comments.
It's incredibly nice to know at the end of the work that it was worth to do this.
Now I'm fighting with the last details, I have time since midnight, I guess.... :wavey:
06-18-2004, 02:23 PM
really great work ..love it a lot...the details and reflectios are stuning.....good job
Final coloring in progress..
06-21-2004, 08:24 PM
sweet ... you going to paint it all as sharply as the machine parts
after contest ? or you already doing it ? :)
06-22-2004, 11:48 AM
Unusual design very stylish.
06-23-2004, 01:26 AM
it's a shame I did'nt come before... No excuse.
I really appreciate the way you painted your subject. The robotic parts make me think about Bjork's video-clip "All is full of love". Good opposition between mechanic (sharp painting) and bio (lazy painting). Are you using Painter ?
Hi spacesnail, thanks for the very kind comment.
I'm using Photoshop, I used to work with Painter but it is a little bit to complicated for me.
07-13-2004, 03:04 PM
The two dogs are awsome, they ad an element of humanity where there no longer seems to be any. I also love your reflection on the mechanical pieces, it reminds me of those space suits in white you see in movies sometimes. Good Luck in voting and Good work!;)
07-16-2004, 10:34 PM
Man, this picture is incridible! I like very much, specially to techinique of representations in white parts - like plastic. The cmpose, idea, all - is very impressive.
ah! the old sketches too!
Than you can vote on mehttp://www.cgtalk.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
really nice image mate. i like the robo XO skeleton of the female. a nice relief from the widly used biped we so commonly see :)
come look at my work i think you might enjoy it. :D
