View Full Version : Dune Buggy Concept

01 January 2002, 06:43 PM

Last week I start to make an Dune 2 like buggy!

I realy liked that Game and the vehicles.

But the new Dune Games (Dune 2000 and Emporer) have very ugly vehicles. :(

I don't know why Westwood didnt made new versions of the old ones :(

maybe next time.

ok here is the concept:

The Car is 6Meter big, so U easy can run over the troopers :D

It's a fast scout, the weapons are big but now powerfull

The Crew consist of three people, one driver, one weapon man and one technican.

vrommmm, cya.

hehe, ain't german an awfull language . . [NO offence ;) ]

anyways, I managed to read it. apparently you can do a helluva lot better than this dune buggy daniel ??
And it's the first of your cars that doesn't look supergood.

Well, I like it, tho it's perhaps a lil to less detailed. looks a bit "realtime" the textures could use a lot more work.
I DO love them huge tires tho :D but the hubcabs are to simple.
If you can do better like xtrm3d said, than this is a model that you can co all out on ;)

good work.

ps, what's that about a lotus ??? :D

hey chris...I'm so sorry...a new HighRes car is comming soon :D

and Yes, that pic is a early preview...very early ;)

hey youre right this Is realtime ;) Not renderd, thats only a ObenGl Preview nothing more...

The Wheelcabs need to be smooth, if you drive in sand... U know, some Oz Wheels would look cool, but nor on a dessert car ;)

hmm, I guess Chris talk about my cars I done in the past

they are on my webpage:
