I'm working on the mechanical parts first...

difficulties to find the good one

I really like the smooth transition of the machine to the flesh. I want to pet it, but I think I might loose my hand. Keep it up

I could totally see some powerful dark lord walking a pair of these down some dystopian street and just clearing the sidewalk. I know I'd be crossing the street!

I love the musculature on the arms/forelimbs...that's gonna look great. Careful not to look at the Alien creature too much...the head is beginning to resemble that Giger-esque look...

Can't wait to see this one finished!

first idea to make its little home.

I say go the muscle form.
Nice definition. Your image has already got some real volume to it the way you've established the lighting.

painting its home, the body is about finished, precising everything...

:) Interesting concept....I like your lion and look forward to seeing it in more detail.... is its lair underground??? I can imagine really long shadow and moody lighting...but I'm only guessing

keep up the good work and post more WIPs soon.

I also liked your dark lord idea.......could have seen this as a great visual also

it begins to please me... hope i'll have enough time... the end is so close............. Argh!!!

06 June 2004, 01:54 PM
nice endcoming dude

06 June 2004, 03:43 PM (

some new details.... don't know if i keep the smoke, what do you think about it?

06 June 2004, 05:29 AM
I feel that the rest of the image is taking away from the creature. What about having the image basically the creature and that's it?

06 June 2004, 10:35 AM (

thanx for your advise neble, i agree with you and so darken the set. i think smoke will help to focus on the creature too.

06 June 2004, 05:42 PM (

hmmmmmm... i think that's done...

06 June 2004, 05:46 AM
Yeah, I'm with you.
Its hand to know at what point to stop sometimes isn't it?
But you really changed the focus to the creature by darkening the background.
Nicely finished.
