Here is my first rough research for a machine born in the same way that humans do (an organic birth in a woomb)

Some colors added to find the color palette.

Very nicely drawn.
nice colours :)
only crit that i would have is that i cannot see any non machine parts in this picture. she looks like a android where is the flesh?
maybe that's just me :D

Excellent colour work, love the detail youve managed to capture in her skin but mostly in the background, very impressive. Congrats on your piece.

I tried to show a "flesh being" with mecanicals parts.
So came this question:
is the flesh that makes you human (or alive) and from which point are you concidered as "alive" or human? (problematics of "Frankenstein" and "Edward Sisors Hands")
So here is the topic that i wanted to work on.
05 May 2004, 08:08 AM
Sorry, but i used my sketch for the line art step!
05 May 2004, 08:14 AM
added some "liquid" stains to improve the "flesh feeling"
05 May 2004, 08:23 AM
lovely light and mood, great job on textures fluids, and so on
05 May 2004, 08:26 AM
:applause: :applause:  :D great work, love the liquid on the body. Although i the green colour of the liquid is a bit off putting, that to me implies that it is not longer human at all esspecially if the being no longer needs its own blood to live. Red liquid would have meant it still needs its own blood to survive so something inside must still be human...
Either way, its an awesome image.

daaaamn awesome! love the colouring. you got a nice atmosphere in there. :applause:

With the amount of entries, this is the first time I've come across your entry.
Blows you away when you see development from initial sketches through to the end image in 10 minutes.
Really great feeling to the piece - lovely lighting.
I actually like the green light as it gives a slightly eerie feel in contrast to the golden sunlight.:applause:

Thanx for your remarks and advices.
