The first Idea i've come up with for the Machineflesh challenge- "Torment"
The Story behind "Torment"
Far into the future man has harnessed the power of cybernetics to give added strength and utility to their own bodies. Enter Chase Camlin, all around murderous individual. After going on a 150 person killing spree (including armed police and military personnel) he is finally contained and gunned down. The government, realizing Chase's genius on the battlefield with his murder orientated mind, bring him to a secret cybernetics labratory to "Rebuild" him. Grafting powerful mechanical arms and legs on him to increase his strength and speed, they begin to tinker with control issues. When he comes back from unconciousness he'd want revenge right? Using brain scanning equipment the government scientist extract all of his victims last painful moments before their untimely death at the hands of Chase from their corpses. Using these stored "memories" they upload them into Chase's brainwave receptor implant. Using these memories they are able to torture Chase's still concious mind. The torture continues and continues until Chase becomes cooperative. The government agrees to give him "limited release" from the force fed mental anguish if he agrees to do military assignments. At this Chase agrees...anything to stop the pain. By helicopter they transport him to his various "Assignments," usually wartorn landscapes, where they drop him in a foot thick steel cage onto the earth below. From a distance they release him from his prison and allow the brutal killing machine to run amok in the battlefield slaughtering as he pleases....every kill subsiding the pain. At completion of his objectives he is tranqued and brought back to HQ where he is allowed his time time away from the torment.
