This model is going to have UV protective metal plating on her arms for those long shoots in the sun. Oh yeah, and prosthetic legs!

I've toned down the shading and started blocking in the main plates and creases where metal meets skin. I'm a painter by nature, so please excuse the simplicity of my drawings.

What do you think?

Dont really have any wise comments or critics.
How did you do that first concept art piece? Its strangely roughed up. Looks very real quess you used a photo with high contrast and some afterwards pixel brushing? Or is it fully regular pencil work?
Because in the second version you have lost a lot of the detail included in the first one.

Sorry about that crappy scan, and pencil work! I cooked that pose up over night and scanned it so I could get some instant feedback. I just have a very different style of preparing my models for painting. First overly detailed pencil drawing for proportions, and extra realism and then the line for guidelines of where to paint. Best method for me, although some think its backwards. Hahaha. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Hey Chris! I was wondering what exactly your plan was in the contest? I mean, what you have so far is kinda....well, boring. Its just a hot chick standing there with a blank stare on her face with mechanical legs and metal plates on her arms!
Don't want to sound to harsh, just want people to put some attitude into their work. Anyway, post some more ideas, get a feel for your concept and make that bitch rock!
Please post some more, I've seen your 3d work and I was thoroughly impressed, but was even more impressed with your 2d work. I have to say this guy has some rockin' 2D. All I can say is 'pin-up' style, let the art speak for itself brother.
My suggestion to everyone, watch this thread, your going to see some friggin' AMAZING SHIT on this one, mark my words, mate.

These concepts have promise, but I'm going to juice it up a little. I'm going to post some pics of her in motion with more mechanical parts about her. Maybe get rid of the metal plates and make her arms mechanical as well! Stay tuned, the're almost done.
