That looks very good !
What software did you use? Can we see a wire?

I've got one suggestion:
The wood texure on the back of the boat looks a bit tiled....

looks good but the main problem is is that the water doesn't interact with the boat, to put it that way. I would suspect water to get influenced by the boat and the boat by the water. Think of a water line for example, a wetness line just above the intersection with the water and the boat.

Also I'd expect waves to be higher, regarding the wideness of the water

thanks pjanssen, used 3dsmax5 for this and sorry no wire to show and you are right about the tile! :) thanks for comment!
garma thanks for water tips, finished with it now but will for sure remember if I make another boat!

Very nice model and the materials are good too, although perhaps a bit too perfect. If it's for a brochure or something similar, then that is just fine.
The biggest flaw in these renders is the lack of "interactivity" between the boat and the water. The boat just intersects and the transition is really harsh.
The water looks nice, though it's easy to see it's 3D as well, because it tiles in the distance. Try adding a sky with clouds above the water, so it has something to reflect. This will break up the tiling effect too.
And perhaps - but do this very carefully - make the water a tiny bit transparent so there's just a hint of the boat shining through underwater. Study photographs to get the right effect. It's quite possible that from many angles you can't see anything of the boat underwater.
Overall very nice, clean work. Just give the water a bit of a polish.

thanks alot for your comment skyraider and I do admire your work specially the latest one very ncie! You might be right about the reflection but from some reference images I saw this wood material was very reflective but the hull might not be that reflective!

Its not for a broschyre but the company have made a design of this boat and wanted it in 3d so no dirt or so.
Also your right about the water intersection, didnt think of any good way of creating that effect though :hmm:

so suggestions are more then welcome probably not for this one since I have to move on but it would be great to have in mind for next time :)

Perhaps try a render similar to this:

That way you avoid seeing the intersection! ;)
