After a long time of modelling and texturing, I think that I'll call this one finished. I've made an indoor enviroment for it, but I wasn't sattisfied with it. (see my other thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=138060)) The pics are down there now, sorry for that.....
I'll do a sea scene for it one day..... but first some other projects...

really good model.
perhaps the base should have a touch more reflection.
also the shadow is distracting for some reason... maybe try an area shadow?

Thanks for your comments. I agree on the shadows. I'll use arealight for the next render.

But if this one is a single scene, i think u can try to use radiosity, is more realistic result!
and some more, I think u can improve the texturing make it more real, but i dunno ur style, may be this is ur style is ok, but add some bump map..would improve a bit. Actually this is for wat purpose? anyway not bad so far, still can improve..:) :)

Thanks for the tips. I used skylight, brazil1.1 in this scene. So radiosity won't improve it much I guess...
About the bumpmap: well, most of the texture do have bumpmaps, maybe they should be upped a bit more ?
