nice job!:applause:

Nice texture and model... like to see a wireframe...of course. Maybe also another render angled so I can see more. It looks maybe part of the ear texture is stretching, but maybe I'm just seeing things. Later

Nice! i like it! one thing tho. the ears kinda stand out.. theyr pinker than the rest of the face and look like they arnt atached to the head

04-22-2004, 12:56 AM
wow thats amazing. all i'd have to add is about the ears to, they look like there floating or something

04-22-2004, 02:34 AM
Awesome model and texture! I suppose the floaty ears probably could be more attached (maybe the lighting could be fixed?), and some of the texture could perhaps be softened a bit (but that's just my humble opinion). Great job though!:buttrock:

Wires are welcome!

Hey, I won't belive this:buttrock: . This is a real photograph of a man's face, right? It looks that realistic, but some adjustment with the ears might improve the look better...

Model a realistic woman face too!

Thank everybody, I will send a new post this afernoon with my wireframe, my texture map and a new light setting! Thank for your comment!

Wow it is realistic,good job.

Looks like Xsi is very popular in Québec...still. :)

Nice model....has a bit of Ben Kingsley (that dude from great films such as Ghandi, Schindlers list and Species?:)) in him...right?

04-22-2004, 03:45 PM
Very realistic. I would like to see him with a brighter background, he loses some detail next to the black i think.

Great texturing! Pretty darn realistic if you ask me. The hair stubble is Bad@$$. My only comment would be to put some more curve in the bridge of his nose to keep it from lookin so strait but thats pretty minior. I love to see a profile and perhaps a 45degree angle render.

I rely like those eyes, absolutly photo realistic!

04-22-2004, 10:31 PM
what shader are you using? Looks like it is a blinn shader.

04-22-2004, 11:38 PM
Yes exact I have use a Blind shader, the specular is better!

Hi, well done mate, amazing work, beautifully rendered.

Can I ask a question? How did you get the soft darkening around the eyeballs? Is that in the texture or are you using some clever other trick; I'm trying to get the same effect in my model but don't know how to achieve it. I've tried adding it in the texture but that causes problems obviously when I rotate the eyes.

Thanks, and well done.

wowow, great work dude. There are some inperfections, like the eyelashes and some other things but this one is certainly worth to plug if you ask me!
