View Full Version : Renderman-reflection fall-off

07 July 2002, 06:10 PM
dear renderman users.
i got my renderman copy about 3 weeks ago and i must say i love it. i
haven't seen anything like it. the quality of its renders are just
amazing. i'll probably never use maya's renderer, not even mentalray.
but i am still to renderman i am getting used to it. and that is why
i am posting this cause i need help with the reflection fall-off. i
can't get it to work and i even follow the tutorials that come with
renderman, but no like. i don't know what i am doing wrong. i get the
reflection right but no fall-off. i must say that in renderman the
reflection doesn't get distorted once the surface has bump-mapping
applied to it, so how do i alter the reflaction map so that it matches
with its surface.

any help will be thanked.
