I ain't well experienced in 3D. But, I've tried to create something.
I've completed this in Maya. Unforytunately, I didn't get nice textures for some of the buildings and particularly for the road. :hmm: I tried to create a road texture in photoshop, but it really looked lousy. Actually, I am really afraid to post my simple work inbetween the works of all u guys. Your works are really looking awesome and professional.
I've completed this around 2 hrs. Rendered in Maya. I didn't add bump map to any of em in this scene.
So, What say u?

Click the link if you get the yahoo error just hit enter again and it will pop up.
As for the scene. It's ok but it could use a little more "Dark" feeling to it. I'ts nice but it seems to be missing the "Dark descilate" feeling.

I tried so many times to bring the night effect, damn! I couldn't get it:cry: I deleted the ambient light in my scene and reconstrcted the light. And, somebody please give me someidea to setup the lighting for a street light. I want the street to illuminate the ground like how it will look in real world. Thats is the main thing for a night scene, right!
Maya users out there, please give me some tips to set up this night scene, I have 3 more days to submit my projects. So, help me out. Everybody in my school are Max users and i am the only Maya user.
here is the scene I was working on it. I didn't complete it. Just a snap shot of it.
