Its a good way to go by freelance without any concept :) thats what I did in my challenge, I just went and let my imagination took its place :) along with some cool tunes I listen to :)

Hey Pascal cool to see you here fighting with us in the mud. It's cool that you still like to get dirty. :)

Ok here is a comment about your model, the shoulder man, i think they're too separate. You should close them up. The back is looking cool but some spine modeling should be cool. And the last, no wrist? It's bull but they've wrist too, it's called i don't know how, mmm boulet? Well this comments are of course only if you want to keep your model anatomicaly close to a real bull.
Otherwise bon boulot!!! J'espere voir bientot les prochain updates!!

Wow pascal nice change to the head! You had a nice Ox going before, but I really like this new head design much more. The head itself almost has a "turtley" quality to it which I think actually works really well with the rest of the beast. And I LOVE that subtle twist you have on the tusks. I almost missed it the first look, and had to go back and examine the pic harder to see it. Really excellent work so far mt man! :thumbsup:

would you mind taking a look at my piece and give me your 2 cents on it?

Ah, I just figured you wanted the bulkiness. If you want to reduce the 'bulk' with out really reducing the mass try brining the "armpits" of the legs up closer to the shoulder (or hip in the case of the rear legs). That should help with some of the bulkiness the torso has without overly slimming-down the overall proportions you have.

There we go that's an improvement!

Small things: What are the small humps of flesh on his back near the shoulder blades, just a little confusing (maybe design?)

Make sure the tusk things have a nice base of flesh too. (great whooly design BTW)

The fore arms inthe front look a little barren- are they flabby are muscular or both?

Oh and you MUST show that long tougue!

This looks good. I like the feets now.

But maybe you can put some more details at the beginning of the horns (by the head). And maybe you can make his head more looking down at the ground. It looks to me that his head will be heavy.

your wireframes are always different looking. (even though it is a smoothed version:wip: ) Your pure approach seems to be very stylized.

I've always found it to be sort of obvious when you look at all of Pascal Blanche's models that they aren't very "cleanly" modeled, but somehow he's managed to make that look add to his unique style which I personally really like.

MikeRB (another of my favs here) has said pretty much the same thing. Guess it keeps you from being anal as long as possible and concentrate on the form.

BTW: Just got back from Barns&Noble where I saw your work in the latest (latest in the US anyway) issue of 3D World :love: .... Probably old news, but I was glad to see your stuff in there! Congrats :thumbsup:

Love the cloth and the detail on the barrel underneath. :thumbsup:

I'm being very picky here, but I'm not sure if the small gap between the back corners of the mouth and the horn looks right. Looks a bit less organic than the rest of the model, like there isn't a flowing skin between the two joins.

I don't know, maybe it's the camera angle.:shrug:

Love the detail. My only crit at this point is the mouth at the back it looks thin and at the end we can see the inside polys that create a bump. So when I look at it, it looks like you just pulled a couple of vertexes in and didn't work out the lip or in this case the depht of the skin.

It's just my opinion, other then that it's kick ass!

At the begining I wasn't really sure if this work would finish like the rest of your stuff... but when you changed the horns, add the motor, and these "vertical bones", I just can say is awesome and very Pascal work. :)
I like very much overall the vertical structure, I think is a very nice idea :thumbsup:

Just I would like suggest you a big cane (from he is until the floor) to keep the balance and to down until the floor using it like fireman bar :p (althouhg I think for down is better a rope with knots...) ;)

will we see it textured? :rolleyes:
