two impressive pictures.
i like the 1st one most.
the green light in the 2nd picture is a little disturbing to me but i guess thats a matter of taste :)

Smooth painting rhemrov... like boht of them though the war machines on the second opne need a bot more of a metalic feel. this way they are blending with the mountains too much.

awsome colors. i love this. it makes me want to leave work go home and grab my wacom and not look back. this is the kind of stuff that inspires me. thanx and keep it comming:beer: :thumbsup:

I totally dig this style. I don't really like the second one, but the first is awesome. great how you made that light so bright.

Thnx fr the respons people, appreciate it! I've always been using photoshop to digitallyl paint my pictures, but since a short while I'm using painter (8) and some tools are just excellent!

My main tools I use are 'airbrush' for the sky, and to create the mountains I remembered a technique a once saw from that bobross dude from tv; the pallette knive. It's excellent for blocking in shapes, and get that smeary rough look going.

How I got the sky to look so bright?I did the ground work in painter, then opened up photoshop and put a lightning filter over it...:)
