Very nice I love the lighting. Girl looks very comfortable and into her music. Nice job.

You should spend another 5 hours, well meybe just 3 hours (:-)) painting to adjust the contrast (becouse there is to litle of it) and gradation (more gradation needed) and it will be a great picture for someones room poster,,,,

hope this helps....

I love it! Looks like a girl for me :)

The only minor things I've noticed are her right hand; It's looking kinda weird.
The other thing is the edge of the bed. It looks a bit too sharp, like it's not anti aliased :D

Other than that it's loooking very very good IMO!

thnx everyone! I'm glad you like it!

Thnx! This was supposed to be a speedpaint so this is
the original resolution of the pic
While I was painting I went more and more into detail.
So I don't think that I will spend more time on this.

Maybe the lips are too dark. I'll try to lighten them up.

Indeed I didn't realize that edge thing. I'll fix it!
I'll check the right hand also. Thnx for your crits!

Arigatou gozaimasu!
Konkaiwa shirokuro de charenji shimashita.

OK I just fixed the edge of the bed, did some work on the right hand and made the lips brighter.

Don't worry! I have the same probleme. I'm so concentred on my work than I put more and more details...and the work and work is almost finished!

besides it is very beautiful and that gives freshness

I love the way she looks relaxed, nice catched. Too bad the resolution isn't too high. Very lovely.

I recently started to create daily paintings. Everyday at least
one picture. So I draw in very small resolutions. Too bad...
I'm posting them on under speedpaints btw.

realy very good picture Goro :)
i like her expression. quite relaxed somehow.
there is something strange with the crossed legs.
i dont know what exactly it is but the shading looks wrong on some places. plus im not sure if the shape is all correct there.
nonenthless a very good pic

04-14-2004, 08:32 PM

the shading problem. Maybe I'll fix it. Thnx for your crits!

Her right hand and looks odd to me; seems too far of an outward angle... or maybe her arm angle is too inward? Not sure. The pose itself is good; she has a nice expressive gesture. Lighting is well done too. Nice speedpaint.

I like ur idea of showing the model half in shade and half lit with sun shine.
Did u color it latter?

05-03-2004, 05:19 PM

and i really like the lightning. very realistic, pal.

Lovely picture.
There is maybe too much details on the face, regarding of the rest of the picture.
But it is really great.

05-04-2004, 09:02 PM
I didn't colorize it. It was just a lightvalue study.

cr0ss: thnx!
