I like your initial design, is subtle... you have nice little touches, like the girl holding a stuffed animal... that adds a lot of grace to the drawing, makes me think of a Pin Up illustration, but with a little twist in it (diferent body and machine parts)...

I'm trying to visualise your ideia already treated with color, texture and evertyhing...and I think it could turn out pretty neat.

I don't know what you have in mind, but I picture the final treatmeant to be dark, like the graphic they made for the machine flesh contest itself, heavy on textures, dramatic lighting and photoshop effects.

I wonder if you can use real pictures... like the head of a barbie doll would look pretty cool. that's my 3 cents anyway...

eventually, I'd like to see more. Let me know!

I agree...

I think this is an excellent combination of Hard machinery and soft humanity....

My suggestion would be to be sure you mae parts of the girl soft... and rather innocent looking so people feel for don't want to rob her of her humanity ;} like a faint flush to pale cheeks etc.... you know?? And make the Teddy fluffy and a little matted! show the wear on him from years of friendship....

Anyways...those are just ideas, use them however they inspire you to ;} I can't wait to see more!

I was going for some sort of shell on her back as a place to retreat to for shelter or protection
