i m very new to DFX previously have worked with AFX and c2, now my question is can we do 3d composite in DFx like in c2 and afx that means making a layer 3d layer and transforming, lights, camera and other stuff and yeah rla/rpf too. hope you get my question.

it will be gr8 if somebody can point me to a tutorial of such nature.

rla/rpf works for sure, you have dve for 3d like transformation,no real 3d camera/shadows,am sure its posible to fake them, but am not familiar with those techniques.however, there is gaia3d,plugin that does that and much more(like direct objects import)

Well, there are definitely ways to hack at it. I'll have to release my 3D Relighting script, allowing lighting direction and quality changes using surface normals. I'll post a link if I can remember.
