Hi guys first of all read this thread http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1337 ;) now get ready for TONS!! and I mean TONS!! of renders :)
First off meet Gifty the Second character finished from Beyond, this is the second wallpaper.... more info here The Beyond site (http://www.eyecandystudios.net/Beyond) although it hasn't been updated yet

whew this is my biggest post yet :) but I just wanted you all to experience Gifty like I have over the weeks :)

LIL very nice man. Hay do have a velvet shader in your program or an sampler info node it well add a soft feel to all the edges. but talk later

great work man! definitely getting better. i remember when you first made ess, and all the problems with that character. this one if pretty much flawless.! keep it up :) ( nice goggles too ;)
how did you get that webby swirled effect in the background? looks outstanding.

nemo: i think the bg effect is made with a KPT 5 plugin in Photoshop
and lildragon, good work !

Wow I must say I'm really suprised this thread came back from the depths :) but at any rate nemo if you look at the creds in the bottom of the pic you'll see it was provided by Mike Bonnell, but the effect can be easily done in KPT 5

The Ripper: umm about 4-5 years now, been using Max 4.2 for 6mths, prior to that 6mths in Max 2.5, in between that was A:M 2000 and way in the beginning it was Truespace :)

It is absolutly the same Software i haved used in the past 5 Years.
Do you have old TS-Images to show ?
(I realy miss the great workflow in TS...)

Oro yeh I have this one http://www.eyecandystudios.net/flash2001/images/show_scenes_sparks.jpg it was actually done in TS4 and published in the TS4 bible :)
...this is my last Project done with TS-4 in '99
(but i can't leave my fingers from TS...)
