I think this would be a great character....and game....
Especially with the hover board and The cool-ass nike kicks

Lol! I can't wait to see those shoes and the board in your model. Those are some crazy shoes.

Fantastic choice! It has to be done!

So here it is FINALLY......
the start of my Marty McFly model, it's off to humble beginings, but I'm working at it.

Most of my time has been spent trying to figure out how to texture, I've never textured anything like this B4.

I'm gonna finish modeling first, then worry about texturing...more to come tomorrow.

C&C please be honest...weak criticism will get me nowhere

Good choice of character.

Now instead of giving my crittics I ask you, do you think it looks like Michael Fox? If the answer is yes I will give you some pointers, but I really hope you will see for yourself that, at this point, your model doesn't look anything like Michael Fox or anything 'normal' human. Just stop modelling for a sec and study Michael's face and then your model.
Without looking that closely you will see for yourself that things are WAY of. I could pick any area of the face and give crittics, but first you got to figure them out by yourself, because this is just basic stuff.

Take a look at this, it will learn you something about the basic head proportions.

Hope this will help you a bit and don't give up.

Thanx David...

yes you are right... there many problems with my model, the first thing that pops out at me is the face is too narrow and seems a bit long... there are also some problems with the eye sockets...
i will continue trying to achieve a satisfactory likeness and repost with my improvements...

and thanks for the proportions picture, i have added it to my reference library
