how do i mirror in blender

Well, I guess that depends on what you mean by mirror.

1) Making a reflective surface
2) Making a mirrored copy of an object
3) Modelling on one half of the object while the other half is a mirrored and instanced copy, updating in real time.

#2. I modeled the half a car and i want to duplicate and connect the vertices so i have a whole car

to achieve #3

select object press alt + D
mirror new object (M and choose menu option that you want)
enter edit mode, all changes to one side
update on other side

You press
In sizex put -1.000
I list, this always in way object

Other one forms in way edition
You select all the vertices that you want to reflect
You press:
And there choose the axis that your you want
They are the methods that I use

Thanks, usually I would model one half and then copy+mirror it and put it together.
This way seems like it will be easier to spot my screw ups when they happen.:thumbsup:

Ya but know people can keep asking questions if there in need of help. Well anyways i have another question. I have seen some tutorials to get the armatures but they wont work at all so if somene could help or point me to some more tutorials on armatures.
