Here's a work-in-progress I threw together yesterday. He'll have clothes and textures on by the end of the week.

The face definatly needs some more deatil before clothes, before rushing off and modeling somthing up, try sketching what you want and incorperating real things and fashons into it, it will come out with a lot more character! You defintely have the modeling ability man :D :D :D . . . Add some bones and hard edges if it is going to be "realisitc" or completey do away with the subtlety and toonise the proportions if your going that way. And give that sword some edge to it! ;)

Three days, 221 views and only one response. Good grief, the model can't be that bad! :)
Oh well, here's another update. The textures get applied tomorrow.

All done. Not bad for one day and three evenings.

no, the model isn't that bad, it's not bad at all, but there's just nothing that makes him original. Since there are so many challengers it's pretty hard to stand out of the crowd.
Maybe you should think of something special for him, add some details, or make a more interesting pose.
the lighting could also use some extra work, I think the contrast between the highlights and those black shadows is too big.

I'm agree with Konyn:
You would must improve the illumination, a better pose and make him original. There is a very hight level here :( (that's why I've not post here yet :D )
And I add.... the cloth is very good (althought it needs a texture) and the armour is cool too.
But I don't like his feet, specially the wooden one.
Anyway,.., You're fast and the last image is much better than the first one. Good job.
