been thinking about making this character for a while and this is my chance. wanna do him in his fancy dress outfit with the skeleton suit thing and his hood up.

heres some reference.

you're lacking of good references, im talking about the resolution of your map,try to find bigger photos

tell me about it! i plan on painting the face myself anyway so the current pic is just reference. why cant people just look straight to camera?!

us an alta vista image search, i did and i found a whole lot of high quality images. quite a few were usable.

ALways very hard to tell when you have it in wires :\

04 April 2004, 03:54 PM
ok, bit more done, and no wires this time :D

gonna have to do hands soon.

god help me.

ok, body pretty much done now, only 2800 tris at the moment but still got hands to go and might put some more creases and stuff in the trousers, considering the texture will make them black so the silhouette will be all important. tried to add some creases on the arms, tho i may have gone over the top.

what do you think?

head too big :p

04 April 2004, 08:07 PM
Yeah the head is too big. And I think you need to look after the rest of the body. It seems out of proportion

i know the comp is long finished but thought i'd still update my thread, started textures, doing the skeleton is really hard, cos i dont just wanna use a photo or graphic, but i might just do so in the end.

any comments?
