Ok i got an idea but that's not necessary the way i'm going to keep for my final character (if i reach the end...).
I was thinking about a mechanical ape concept.
The apes are our ancestors but they're also a way to experiment new techologies ...
I had think about a ape with kind of mechanical arms and hand, his arm skin is cutted and weirdly attached to the mechanical part.
I want to show that it's an experience, nothing is clean, the ape is a cobaye, i think i'll show blood and suffering expression on the face of the ape.
I want to put this ape in a labotary cell, he's sitted on the floor and we see on his foot, some kind of fluorescent wrinkle , a sort of digital print...
I have a great vision of the scene in my mind but it's hard to describe. I'll post the concept soon.
Good luck everybody !

Here are the ideas i got, i'm not really sure about proportion and position of the ape for the moment. The third image represent a banana peeler, later it will be incorporated in the ape body.
The window at the place of his sex is a way to reject his dechet in little packet... ( sorry for that kind of english :) )
There will be also some fluorescence on the wrinkles, make an impression of digital print...
For the moment i do not like those kind of arms and hands, i will make them more solid and more organic.
So, don't forget that's just my first idea.
Crits and comments are welcome.
an ape ! that's a good idea
You should make his arms longer, but forget about his sex i think it will make the jury "disgusting" you should concentrate on an other part of the ape.
Think of what the ape is doing in his day, his activities in the jungle. fighting with Tarzan, looking for banana, fighting some human who want cut trees( that would make him bizarre)
You could make him a mech jaw or eye. just leave him few organic part (a part head, forearms, foot, a heart beating lonely)
